Everyone Deserves A Place To Call Home.
Stable housing is the foundation of successful reentry. TLOGF is helping individuals returning from incarceration reconnect with housing, family, employment, and opportunity.
Reentry begins with stability.
When someone comes home without a stable address, every other part of reentry becomes harder. Housing creates the foundation for safety, accountability, employment, family reunification, and long-term success.
Housing Stability
A safe place to rebuild and move from crisis into structure.
Family Reunification
Helping families heal, reconnect, and plan for a stronger future.
Employment Pathways
Connecting housing support with workforce training and opportunity.
Community Support
Building partnerships with providers, churches, agencies, and employers.
This mission is rooted in lived experience.
Oscar Grant Jr. understands the pain of loss, incarceration, and rebuilding life after prison. After losing his son, Oscar Grant III, and later overcoming a life sentence that was overturned, Oscar Grant Jr. became a living example of what it means to return home, rebuild, and fight for others who need a real second chance.
TLOGF carries that story into action by helping justice-impacted individuals reconnect with housing, employment, family, mentorship, and community support.
A second chance housing pathway.
TLOGF is building a practical reentry housing support model focused on navigation, documentation, family stabilization, workforce connection, and trusted community partnerships.
Emergency Housing Navigation
Helping people identify immediate shelter, food, transportation, phone access, and emergency documents.
Housing Provider Matching
Connecting housing needs with landlords, sober living homes, transitional housing, and supportive partners.
Family Stabilization
Supporting safe reunification planning when family members are willing and able to help.
Employment Support
Connecting housing stability to workforce training, barbering, construction, food service, and apprenticeships.
Case Coordination
Tracking urgent needs, referrals, milestones, and next steps through a structured support process.
Community Partnerships
Building relationships with churches, employers, housing providers, reentry organizations, and public agencies.
Building Alameda County's next generation of reentry housing partnerships.
TLOGF is actively identifying housing partners throughout Alameda County and the Bay Area who believe in second chances and are interested in supporting successful reentry outcomes.
We support a collaborative approach involving housing providers, faith communities, workforce partners, public agencies, and community organizations committed to reducing homelessness and recidivism.
